| We provide numerical modelling software and services for mining and pavement engineering. We develop and support the CIRCLY, HIPAVE and APSDS pavement design packages. Our consulting business specialises in advanced numerical stress analysis for mining rock mechanics. Mincad Systems was formed in 1987 as the first "specialist" computational mechanics group to service the numerical modelling needs of the Australian mining and geo-engineering industry. The founders, Leigh Wardle and Ken McNabb, have a combined 40 years experience. One of our principal objectives is to promote intelligent, efficient and effective use of state-of-the-art computational techniques in mining and geo-engineering. Pavement Design and AnalysisWe are the developers of leading edge software for pavement design and analysis:
Geomechanics SoftwareWe support a range of mature design and analysis packages that are continually being enhanced to match the needs of industry. We offer comprehensive consulting, training and software support for clients who wish to develop in-house modelling capabilities. Programs we are developing and support include MINLAY and SUBSOL for optimal underground coal mine design. We are agents for the MAP3D boundary element software developed by Mine Modelling Limited of Canada. This software has been successfully applied to soil and rock mechanics problems at hundreds of sites in over 20 countries. We also distribute slope stability and groundwater analysis software from Geo-Slope International of Canada. Click here for more details on our range of Software.
